Zenus Fordham, 100 years of age, and his nine children, of Laurens
county, near Dublin. Mr. Fordham celebrated his 100th birthday
recently, with a grand family reunion, when descendants from seven
counties were present to enjoy a monster picnic-dinner. The group
above shows Mr. Fordham seated, and his nine children grouped around
him. They are, Mrs. Mary Hardy, Wilkinson county; W. J. Fordham,
Laurens county; Mrs. T. J. Perry, Laurens county; B. F. Fordham,
Candler county; J. W. Fordham, Wilkinson county; Mrs J. G. Miller,
Wilkinson county; W. H. Fordham, Laurens county; J. Z. Fordham,
Bulloch county, Mrs. Z. T. Thomas, Laurens county. Besides these
nine children, Mr. Fordham has 62 grandchildren, 87 great
grandchiuldren and 28 great great grandchildren. He is related to
the DuPre, Billue, Perry, Dominey, Ellington, Hatfield, Bishop,
Stanley, Freeman, Knight, Metts, Rawls, Cannon, Adams, and Thomas
families, which make him kin to about half of the people in Laurens
county.

ZENUS FORDHAM DIES AT AGE OF 100 YEARS
Dublin, Ga., June 14. (Special) Zenus Fordham, who celebrated
his hundredth birthday last December died this morning at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. T. J. Perry, near Dublin, after a short
illness. Mr. Fordham was one of the best known citizens of this
county.
He leaves nine children, 62 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren
and 28 great-great-grandchildren. He is related to practically
everyone of the old established families of this county and numbers
his relatives literally by the hundreds.
His funeral will be held Tuesday morning at Fordham cemetery in
Wilkinson county.
