We spent a large part of last spring and summer scraping paint, working on windows and replacing a lot of rotten wood on the front post and porch supports.  We figured we could paint a side a year and keep up with the flaking paint.  Well, we think a better solution has come our way - Spray on Siding.  We will use this page to keep you updated on the progress & let you know what we think of this new high tech coating process...


The floor boards are a little over 1" thick.  We had to plane these down from 2 x 8's


We had to replace a lot of wood!


The porch had to be jacked up 3" to replace the damaged areas.


You cannot go to Home Depot and buy the right size wood...everything has to be custom cut.
