This Tornado Struck Fort Valley on the evening of August 29, 2005. It was caused by hurricane Katrina.
We were in the closet of the blue bedroom with our niece, Savannah. This is what we say when we came out.
We were very blessed. No one was killed by this Tornado.
Pineola had a lot of tree damage, but no structural damage to any buildings,
other than the Cotton Barn which was still across the street at the time.
