OUTDOOR SOUTHERN RUSTIC WEDDING

I admit that getting to spend my day looking at beautiful wedding pictures is not a bad job especially when a wedding like this one comes along. Filled with southern rustic wedding ideas, a wedding under a beautiful tree and perfectly designed decor this wedding will leave you saying “wow”! I love how this wedding was able to mix a classic rustic style with a bit of a vintage or antique style, the two styles together really make for a dramatic and romantic feeling. Held at the Georgia wedding venueThe Cotton Barn At Pineola Farms this wedding is truly an inspiration. Thanks to Debra Eby Photography for sharing this amazing and one of a kind wedding with us.

Check out our feature on Style Me Pretty Georgia - When rustic meets romantic at the breathtaking Pineola Farms, it’s cause for an all-out celebration here on SMP Georgia.  A celebration in honor of stunningly beautiful details, heartwarming moments (see: tying the knot… literally) and a cute-as-can-be duo joining together for all eternity.  Basically, a full day’s worth of amazing, all captured in lovely images by

Style Me Pretty Georgia
I love, love, love Fall weddings… there’s just something about the combination of my favorite season and a bundle of wedding goodness that sends my heart into a pitter-patter every.single.time.  So, it should come as no surprise that these charming Fort Valley nuptials by Jess Fouts Photography have me completely smitten… and in a big way.  How could I not be madly in love with the sweet as can be venue, natural color palette, stunning lace gown and gorgeous florals by Sandra Morgan?  Not to mention that every last detail of this charming affair was a labor of love by the bride and groom, plus friends and family.  If that doesn't  just warm your heart with happy, I don’t know what will.

We were just published in Occasions Magazine Summer 2013 edition - The magazine is available at Barnes and Nobles, Publix etc. If you have an iPad you can download the app and see the magazine for free. You can also view here in their digital publication

Here is another feature on Style Me Pretty Georgia from last fall -

Check out Macy and William on Brides.com

Pineola Farms "is literally the most beautiful outdoor venue I have ever seen," the bride gushes about 140-year-old farmland that stretches more than 12 acres in middle Georgia. "My dream was to get married outside in God's beautiful creation."

For Macy and William, it was "love at first sight," the bride confesses. After their first date at the Georgia State Fair, the pair was inseparable. Yet William still managed to surprise Macy when he dropped to one knee inside an intimate cafe and asked her to be his wife.

Fifteen months of planning—"way too long," Macy laments—led to the couple's June wedding in Fort Valley, Georgia. A self-proclaimed "literature buff," the bride envisioned Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dreamwhen it came to planning the couple's big day. "I wanted natural wild flowers, lights every where that would look like fairies flying around, and just a dreamy feel all over," Macy says

I’m not sure that I’ll ever tire of pretty pink blooms. Christina’s lovely bouquet reminds me of spring and Marie Antoinette. (Don’t soft pinks and greens remind you of Marie, too? Maybe it’s just my Paris brain.) We are loving the soft colors in Christina + Scott’s wedding, photographed by Haley Sheffield

Carmen Johnson did a great series on Green Weddings for Southern Living Plants recently at the farm.

Oh Lovely Day - {REAL WEDDING} LINDSAY & ROSS: OUTDOOR VINTAGE SOUTHERN WEDDING  This outdoor vintage-inspired wedding was filled with personal details. The bride’s bouquet was filled with her grandmother’s costume jewelry as a way to honor the importance of family. They gave saplings to each guest as a favor to symbolize the way their love would grow over the years. They filled their reception with their favorite foods, including some Middle Eastern pastries to honor the groom’s roots and Coca-Cola Classic, a true Southern staple (and my personal favorite guilty pleasure beverage!)  I love all of the personal touches this couple incorporated.    Another great wedding photographed by Jenny Evelyn Photography
