Daniel and Lori - September 25th 2010

by Paul & Delise Knight in

We loved Lori's vision of hot pink with a rustic look. The guests were each given a small bottle of bubbles to shower the bride and groom as they came back down the aisle. Lori was a beautiful bride - it was a perfect September day!

Daniel wanted everything to be just as Lori envisioned it. He worked with his future father in law to help create the perfect centerpieces. After he cut pieces of oak into 4 inch slabs with a chainsaw they took them to a woodworking shop for the final crafting.

Daniel is an avid hunter - his cake was even camo! The grooms cake table was decorated with a picture of him with one of his trophies. The favors were camo drink koozies. Lori requested that they leave on the John Deere Tractor.

Lori was one of our most organized brides! She made it easy on our directing staff.  It was great working with her and Daniel. Thanks to Shannon Archibald Photography for the early first look photos!

Pineola Farms Fall Farm Day - October 2, 2010

by Paul & Delise Knight in

Most weekends the farm is bustling with families preparing for a family members wedding and reception. This weekend will be a little different.Saturday is our annual Fall Farm Day. The farm will once again be a busy place with tractors, farm equipment, mules, bands, food and artisans. Kids will love the pumpkin patch where they can pick out their own little pumpkin and take it to the paint station decorate. They will also be able to find an ear of corn, shuck it, grind it and feed it to the chickens. Fresh Air BBQ will be serving lunch to enjoy in the Cotton barn or on the grounds.

Doug and Robin - September 18th, 2010

by Paul & Delise Knight in

Robin was one of those special brides - We fell in love with Robin and her mother, Carol, from the start. Robin even helped us out by being a bartender at a previous wedding. The weather was hot and steamy for a day in September. There was no breeze blowing at all. Just as the guest were being seated a rain shower formed a few miles south of here - the sky clouded up and the wind started blowing - perfect weather for an outdoor wedding and not a drop of rain here. A candle burned in loving memory of Seth Hudson - we think he was partially responsible for the beautiful sky for Robin and Doug's wedding.

Our floral team had the pleasure of designing all of the flowers for their wedding. Robin's bridesmaids dresses were purple - she wanted all of her flowers in white with only a small hint of purple in her bouquet. It was simply elegant.

They chose to be married in the circle of love with their family and friends surrounding them. Their son, Hudson, joined them as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

We are so thankful that Robin and Doug allowed us to be a part of their wedding day. Robin was one of the happiest brides we have ever seen and Doug was one of the most grateful grooms. Hope you have and great honeymoon and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Madalyn and Jason's Wedding - September 4th, 2010

by Paul & Delise Knight in

The very first time we met Madalyn and Jason they were 20 minutes late and Jason's shiny silver pickup was covered in a layer of wet mud. They were following the directions from their GPS to find Pineola Farms.  It sent them down an old field road which had been soaked with several days of heavy rains. When the road became impassable they turned off the GPS - turned around - and stayed on the paved roads to the farm. They got out of the truck smiling about their adventure... Pineola Farms Wedding September 4, 2010

It was a true southern night - the smell of low country boil (by Kudzu Catering) in the air and the first cool evening of late summer. A good-looking groom in a stylish suit and a radiant bride in a stunning white gown.

We just loved all of the elements Madalyn chose.   The details on the wedding cake were incredible - LisaMae Cakes always does a fabulous job. Burlap table overlay's, blue Mason jars, boiled peanuts, pecan pie favors, galvanized tins for the flower girls and a beautiful sunset in the pecan orchard were the elements for a perfect southern wedding.Madalyn-Jason Wedding

The team of  {Two} Chics Photography captured every moment of Madalyn and Jason's day. Great work Chics and thanks for the previews!

With 3 styles of shoes to choose from, one being cowboy boots, Madalyn walked barefoot across the grass lawn to her groom.

The evening ended with the perfect Georgia Wedding dessert - Peach Ice Cream! Jason and Madalyn headed out for their honeymoon in the islands (in Jason's Shiny, clean pickup truck - No mud this time) - have a great time and relax.  We were blessed to be part of your wedding day!
