Pineola Farms had the pleasure of hosting weddings from 2007 through 2016. It was a decade we will never forget. Congratulations and thank you to all of the families that trusted us with their special day!
Pineola Farms hosted many Truly Southern Events with a charm and feel that could only be achieved on a 150 year old Plantation. The Home place was built in the 1850's and was added onto over the years. Many of the Camellia bushes were planted by Mrs. Bassett in the 1930's. The home features wraparound porches and Victorian trim work on the outside and period antiques throughout.
We hosted over 150 weddings from 2007 through 2016 and met thousands of wonderful people from all over the world. We have memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We were blessed to be able to share the rich history of Pineola Farms and help make memories for so many families…
Weddings and Receptions - The Cotton Barn
The Barn at Pineola Farms is one of Middle Georgia's most unique event facilities. The barn is available for Weddings and Receptions. We are located on 12 acres of farmland in Peach County, Georgia, just 9 miles West of I-75 at Byron or Perry. We are 20 minutes south of Macon & 1 1/2 hours south of Atlanta. Pineola Farms was established in 1865 and remained in the Bassett family until 1973.
Pineola Farms consists of 12 picturesque acres of gardens, lawns & pecan orchards, the 1865 plantation home, and a 1930’s fully restored cotton barn. We can accommodate from 1 to 250 guests in true southern fashion.
The Barn was built in 1930 on the East side of Taylor's Mill Rd and moved to its current location in 2006 where it was totally restored in 2007.
The Barn consists of 2100 square feet in the main room with an additional 1050 square feet containing the serving kitchen, restrooms, and green room. The interior of the barn is heated & cooled. The covered front porch is 800 square feet and the open deck is 600 square feet.
The Barn can be as dressed up or as rustic as you want it to be. Whether you want a Barn Wedding, or want to get married in the pecan orchard with your reception in the barn, our event facility is very versatile. Your event at our facility can be whatever you dream of.
