Airing of the Quilts - August 19th, 2023 - from 9 am to 2 pm.
Garden Open with Tours and Talks. The Gift Shop Will be Open
Join us for the cherished tradition of the Airing of the Quilts, a time-honored practice where these beautiful creations are gently brought out of storage and placed outside in the invigorating fresh air and warm sunshine. It's a special moment when we proudly display our family quilts on the porch rails of Pineola, a testament to the love and craftsmanship of Paul's Great-Grandmother, whose artistry has been treasured and passed down through the years.
As you explore Pineola, you may have marveled at the elegant dining table, set up for grand meals, adorned with an array of different plates and serving pieces. Curiosity may have sparked as you wondered about their uses and the stories they hold.
At 11 AM, Delise will take you on a journey through time, explaining each item's significance and sharing its history. It's a chance to immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Pineola and its fascinating past.
At 1 PM, Delise will guide you in creating a stunning yet simple arrangement for your own kitchen table. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn some decorating tips and tricks, adding a touch of charm to your home with newfound skills.
Please mark your calendar for this fun and informative time at the farm. August 19, 9:00-2:00 - This is a free event. No ticket is required.
The Home, Gardens, and Giftshop will be open.

Mark Ballard
First off, let me introduce Mark Ballard who needs no introduction at all. Mark Ballard is an artist, designer, decorator, speaker, author, columnist, chef, television personality and has been described as “a true Renaissance man with a Southern flair!” You will have an opportunity to shop his wonderful note cards and everything Garden.
Let me introduce Angela Meeks, who is an artist in everything paper. Angela is the owner and creator of Miss Molly Cottage. Her creations are sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. From Italian crêpe paper flowers to the cutest paper-mâché characters. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to chat with this amazing artist, and maybe even take a treasure home with you.
Everyday Farm and Garden
Get an opportunity to meet Josh, Nikki, and their family, and learn more about their vision. Everyday Farm and Garden is located in Perry, and we are so excited to have them as one of our vendors at The Flower Fantasy again this year. Be sure to shop their wonderful plants and garden accessories, I’m sure you’ll find something you love! We love their enthusiasm and youthful approach to gardening.
Peach County high school FFA
The Magnolia Garden Club is so excited about this one! Getting our youth interested in horticulture is why the show is being held. All proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit the scholarship fund for studies in horticulture. Peach County high school FFA will be selling bouquets. This is a perfect opportunity to talk to students and help support their programs, and not to mention you can take home a wonderful arrangement made by the students.
Growing Old
Growing Old is owned by Tom and Mary Ann Johnson, some of the sweetest people on the planet. Tom and Mary Ann have had their hands in some of the most beautiful public gardens, the Carter Center, Massee Lane Gardens, and the oldest romantic garden, Magnolia Plantation. They have inspired gardeners from all around the world - we are so excited to have them visit us here in middle Georgia. This is a rare opportunity to talk to some great people and purchase some of their pollinators, perennials, and native azaleas for your garden. One of the things that is so exciting is that Mary Ann used to be a member of our Garden Club. I think we feel like she’s coming home.
Heather Mason Custom Jewelry
We’re so excited about our vendor, Heather Mason. Heather spent a lot of tie with us at the farm when she was a wedding photographer.
I started making wire and beaded jewelry 20 years ago, and have made things as a hobby on and off ever since. I worked as a professional photographer for 15 years, photographing a little of everything along the way, but mostly weddings. I retired from that two years ago, but it comes in handy for photographing my jewelry. I started learning metalsmithing a couple of years ago, and I’m even more in love with the process of working with metal now that I’m getting to pursue it all the time.
Joe Dallas Pottery
We are so excited to have Joe at the Flower Fantasy this year. Joe is from Columbus, Ga., and Joe Dallas has been making pottery for over 30 years.
Check out his work on his Instagram Page by clicking here.
Pineola Gift Shop
The gift shop at Pineola will open for the first time the weekend of The Flower Fantasy, April 23 and 24th. Paul and Delise love collecting beautiful things and want to share that with you. They carry everything from garden gloves to Georgia plates and Venetian earrings. You will see beautiful pieces from local artisans - we are sure you’ll find something that will be perfect for your home.
Turner’s Antiques
We are excited to welcome Turner’s Antiques to The Flower Fantasy. They have a wonderful store in Marshalville and will be bringing some of the best to Pineola.
Our Featured Designers
Roy Lamb
Roy approaches each opportunity with fresh creativity, artistry, and careful personalization. A true southern gentleman on the outside and passionate artist and lover of beauty on the inside.
There is nowhere I'd rather be than around the life and beauty of flowers. My mother and grandmother used to call me their flower child. When I was small, I used to carefully pick those little purple weeds that grow in the yard (called henbit) and deliver handfuls of them to my mother. She would respond with the most loving gratitude. The look in my mother’s eyes was the first time I experienced being able to deliver joy through the art of flowers. My mother is no longer with us, but I put a little bit of my Mama's heart into every arrangement I make, and when I see that spark of joy in a clients eye, I feel the encouragement that started in my Mama's kitchen, and that is why I do what I do.
Delise Knight
Delise and her husband, Paul, are the owners of Pineola Farms and Delise is one of our featured designers. She has been involved with floral installations for as long as she remembers. She was the head designer for weddings at the farm for over 10 years and helped make dreams come true for hundreds of brides. She loves thinking “outside the box”. Delise is proud to have transformed Pineola into her very own “picking garden”. Most plants in the garden come with a story, as many of them were given to her by dear friends over the years. Delise’s love for horticulture began at a very young age as she enjoyed working with her grandfather on the family farm.
